Fundraiser (Full-Time) | $20/hr + Benefits
About The Position
Public Outreach is hiring Fundraisers to help leading charitable organizations grow their community of monthly supporters. In this role, you'll have face-to-face conversations with members of the public, sharing the impact of important nonprofit organizations and inspiring people to support meaningful causes. Every conversation has the potential to create lasting change. No previous fundraising experience is required. If you've worked in customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurants, sales, events, promotions, or enjoy talking with people, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Looking for consistent full-time hours (preferred)
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurants, serving, bartending, sales, marketing, brand ambassador, community outreach, canvassing, fundraising, or nonprofit work is an asset–but not required.
