About The Position

The Funding Specialist supports day-to-day servicing of the company's equipment lease and loan portfolio, with primary responsibility for operational tasks within Servicing Operations. The role processes daily transaction funding and works closely with internal accounting and treasury partners, vendors, and dealers to ensure payments are processed accurately and on time. It requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment in researching and resolving variances, and the ability to manage recurring deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. The position reports to the Servicing Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or associate degree, or relevant years of practical work experience in finance or accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication and listening skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Adherence to policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in Excel.

• Experience with accounting and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Process equipment funding payables and prepare payments for review.
• Prepare daily and monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Assist with cash management activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Assist with periodic reporting to funding sources, including portfolio concentration, ineligibles, delinquency, write-offs, recoveries, residual realization, and borrowing base reporting.
• Assist in audit and tax preparation.
• Assist with annual report activities, including preparing and timely submitting filings as needed.
• Maintain job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
