This summer, CKUA's Fund Development team is taking on several meaningful donor engagement initiatives and this role exists to help bring them to life. As a Fund Development Assistant – Special Projects, you'll work alongside the Fund Development team to deepen relationships with CKUA's donors, explore new ways to engage supporters digitally, and help tell the story of CKUA's fundraising work internally. This is a role for someone who's energized by the intersection of people, storytelling, and purpose. You'll gain real, hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising at an organization that has been connecting Albertans to music and culture for over a century. Much of your summer will be focused on bringing new donor stewardship programs to life, including initiatives designed to meaningfully engage leadership donors, major donors, and those who have chosen to include CKUA in their estate plans. These are relationships that matter deeply to CKUA's future, and your work will help nurture them. You'll also explore and support digital engagement opportunities for current and potential donors, including testing peer-to-peer giving at CKUA - a relatively new frontier for the organization that you'll help shape. Alongside this, you'll work with Fund Development Manager to find creative ways to share fundraising stories and progress with colleagues across CKUA, helping build a culture where everyone feels connected to the mission. There's also an opportunity to design a special summer project that combines CKUA's needs with your own interests, for example, developing a stewardship plan to celebrate a specific subset of our donor community. It's a chance to leave your own mark on the work.
