About The Position

Provide Advisory and Assistance Support (A&AS) to the NC3 Enterprise Center in overseeing and managing day-to-day NC3 operations, maintaining enterprise-wide visibility, and assessing comprehensive operational and technical risk. With active participation from NC3 Enterprise stakeholders, support the development, presentation, and advocacy of future capabilities, risk-management options, and prioritization recommendations to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Deputy Secretary of Defense on behalf of NC3 stakeholders.

The contractor provides subject matter expertise in systems analysis and engineering, technical analysis, solution integration, operations assessment and analysis, risk management, requirements identification and advocacy, intelligence assessments, technology identification, and the development of future concepts and architectures. The role also supports other assigned tasks that assist CDRUSSTRATCOM in planning and executing Strategic Deterrence and NC3 operations in support of the National Defense Strategy.

Requirements

• Active TS clearance with eligibility for immediate SCI and SAR is required.
• Experience with Nuclear Command and Control (NC2/NC3) is required.
• At least 10 years of experience with NC2/NC3 operational capabilities and procedures.
• Specialized experience with NC2/NC3 operational platforms, communications, and modes of operation, including current efforts to develop survivable and endurable NC2/NC3 capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day oversight and management of NC3 operations.
• Maintain enterprise-wide visibility and assess operational and technical risk.
• Work with NC3 Enterprise stakeholders to develop, present, and advocate future capabilities, risk-management options, and prioritization recommendations to the CJCS and Deputy Secretary of Defense.
• Conduct systems analysis, systems engineering, technical analysis, and solution integration.
• Perform operations assessment and operations analysis.
• Support risk management, requirements identification and advocacy, and intelligence assessments.
• Identify technologies, future concepts, and architectures.
• Perform other assigned tasks supporting CDRUSSTRATCOM's Strategic Deterrence and NC3 mission.
