About The Position

NTT DATA is seeking a FullStack Engineer to join their team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This role involves working with public cloud and cloud-based technologies, with a preference for Microsoft Azure. Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills are essential to understand complex customer needs and transactions.

Requirements

8+ years solid experience with java spring-based frameworks and libraries preferably Spring boot
5+ years hands on experience working with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka or Service Bus
5+ years experience with building applications working with databases like Oracle, Postgres etc.

Responsibilities

Working with public cloud and cloud based technologies with Microsoft Azure preferred
Passion for engineering excellence and continuous improvement via collaboration and willingness to learn
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer needs and transactions
Experience building and consuming REST API based integration and microservices architecture.
Understanding and experience working with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins
Experience with software application testing approaches and tools like jUnit, Cucumber, Selenium.
Experience with Chaos Testing and other SRE practices for building highly resilient cloud-based software applications
Experience designing and developing applications in microservices architecture
