Full Stack Web Developer, Marketing

DeepgramRemote, CA
$125,000 - $160,000

About The Position

Deepgram is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to own and manage the deepgram.com website, which serves as the company's digital front door. This role involves showcasing products, brand moments, and pricing, and is crucial for driving self-serve revenue. The developer will be responsible for the entire codebase, architecture, Sanity environments, and QA standards. The website is undergoing a complete refresh, and the developer will be the primary owner of the repository and its evolution. This position is part of the Web team, reporting to the Senior Web Manager, and requires close collaboration with product, marketing, sales, and external development partners. A key requirement is an AI-native mindset, utilizing AI agents and tooling in the development, review, and QA processes, with a goal of building a machine-first, voice-first site experience. The role demands comfort with rapid change, experimentation, and continuous learning, aligning with the fast pace of AI development.

Requirements

  • Marketing web development background with ownership of marketing sites, not just product surfaces.
  • Enterprise repository ownership experience, including branching strategy, CI/CD, and a strong code-review culture.
  • Experience with headless CMS architecture, with Next.js and Sanity strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in the modern React ecosystem for the web.
  • Experience with Vercel as a production platform.
  • AI-native development skills, with the ability to demonstrate concrete use of AI agents and tooling in your workflow.
  • High level of ownership and accountability; a self-starter ready to join an ambitious team.
  • Technical leadership experience, including directing or reviewing the work of agency developers.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with internationalization (i18n/l10n), including URL architecture, locale routing, and multi-region infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing on production marketing sites.
  • Interest in voice AI and the future of voice-interactive web experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the deepgram.com codebase end to end, including the Next.js application (front and back end), GitHub repo, branching and CI/CD, and code review.
  • Optimize and maintain Sanity CMS architecture, including schemas, reusable module library, staging and production environments, and publishing workflow.
  • Run the global design system, component library, and Vercel platform, spearheading AI integrations and managing global CSS systems.
  • Build and run the site's QA program, ensuring a well-structured and scalable staging environment for constant launch readiness.
  • Lead internationalization and localization efforts, including language-locale URL and routing architecture, hreflang, and the path from i18n plumbing to localized content.
  • Own technical SEO, including site architecture, redirects, and Core Web Vitals, with on-page SEO executed by content partners under review.
  • Ensure LLM discoverability (AEO) through structured data, metadata, and content architecture designed for answer engines.
  • Develop technical infrastructure for the site's experimentation program.
  • Partner with Marketing Ops for the implementation of forms, gated content, and attribution instrumentation (GTM, GA4, HubSpot).
  • Maintain cybersecurity posture by running routine safety audits across dependencies and scripts.
  • Ship complex site improvements and launch campaign pages in a product-driven atmosphere with high velocity.
  • Utilize an AI-native workflow, employing agents in the daily build process and creating tooling for safe marketing publishing.
