About The Position

Value Added Solutions is hiring a Full Stack Web Developer III to support the Business System IT department. Using an Agile development methodology, the developer will build and maintain applications for business departments such as Accounting, Procurement, Human Resources, and Project Controls. The role works with customers and Business Analysts to develop user stories and storyboards, creates reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and supports end users with user manuals and initial training. The developer performs initial testing, supports the QA Analyst in creating documented test plans, and evaluates procedures for regulatory compliance. The position is based in Aiken, South Carolina. The work week is up to 40 hours according to the assigned schedule, excludes SRS holidays, and includes a 30-minute lunch each workday. Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a full stack developer using C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL data manipulation, and secure coding techniques.
Demonstrated success across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including user stories and storyboard development, application development, test plan development, testing, production turnover, and documentation.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Teamwork skills for working in a highly matrixed project environment.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
A qualifying education and experience combination: bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field and at least 5 years of experience; associate degree in computer science or an equivalent field and at least 7 years of experience; or high school diploma and at least 9 years of experience.

Responsibilities
