About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Full Stack Java Software Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This is an 18-month contract opportunity. The role supports a major platform migration for credit card servicing applications, transitioning from a legacy .Net stack to a modern technology stack including Java, MongoDB, and React. The ideal candidate will work on complex initiatives, contributing to the resolution of multifaceted software engineering challenges while collaborating strategically with client personnel.

Requirements

5 years of Software Engineering experience
5 years of experience with Java (version 15 or newer)
3 years of experience with React
3 years of experience with MongoDB
Experience with OCP/Kubernetes
Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) applications such as IBM BPM, Pega, or Azure Logic

Nice To Haves

.Net engineering experience
AI prompt experience, having written playbooks
Experience with Autosys

Responsibilities

Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges
Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to meet deliverables
