About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Full Stack Java Software Engineer for a hybrid role with a Global Financial Institution. This is an 18+ month contract opportunity. The role involves working within a contact center technology team, focusing on migrating contact center software from on-premise to a cloud infrastructure. The position requires engineering design, development, and deployment of middleware to fill product gaps and integrate systems. The work includes both backend (Java, Spring Boot) and frontend (React) development for building and maintaining UIs and delivering value to the organization.

Requirements

5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education
5-7 years of Java Development experience
Experience with Spring Boot, React, and Microservices
Experience with Kafka
Familiarity with OCP (Cloud Foundry) or other cloud deployment environments
Experience with modern stack as a developer

Nice To Haves

GenAI/LLM experience (creating agents, LLM integrations)
Experience in Contact Center technology development

Responsibilities

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
