About The Position

The Full Stack (JAVA) Developer will design and develop web-based applications based on business requirements and create and implement web-based interfaces. The role spans the full development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, brainstorming, analysis, coding, testing, and documentation. It calls for a solid development background in J2EE/Spring web application development, Java client/server development, and database development. The position is based in Plano, Texas, and has a stated contract period of one year. English/Korean bilingual ability is required.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of Java experience developing or maintaining information systems.
• Strong knowledge of Java 17, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Redis, and Vue.js.
• Front-end experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with at least one of WebLogic, JBoss, or Tomcat application servers.
• Experience with at least one of Oracle or PostgreSQL database servers.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux platforms.
• English/Korean bilingual ability.
• Ability to handle, coordinate, and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to create software design and engineering documents.
• Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn and deliver quickly, and meet tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with Kafka and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD.
• Android or iOS experience.
• Experience interacting with SAP.
