About The Position

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer – Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the principal authority for full-stack architecture, application modernization, secure development practices, and enterprise technology integration. The role leads the design, development, and optimization of scalable web applications across frontend and backend technologies. It combines strategic technical leadership with hands-on development to ensure applications are secure, high-performing, interoperable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards, zero-trust principles, and complex cross-enclave requirements.

The position is onsite in Chantilly, Virginia, and requires a Top Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree, and at least 10 years of experience. The role includes work on an in-house custom-developed data pipeline and technologies spanning Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, JFrog Artifactory, AWS Cloud Services, Vue.js, Flask, Elixir, Phoenix LiveView, Daisy UI, Python, Cribl, Apache NiFi, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, Splunk, and custom GOTS applications.

Requirements

• Active or required Top Secret clearance (the posting states “Top Secret Clearance Required”).
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience.
• Extensive experience with modern frontend frameworks, backend technologies, APIs, and relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, system integration, and scalable application design.
• Experience with secure development practices, DevSecOps methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in database design, performance optimization, and application troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and establish development standards across teams.
• Technical requirements include an in-house custom-developed data pipeline, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, JFrog Artifactory, AWS Cloud Services, Vue.js, Flask, Elixir, Phoenix LiveView, Daisy UI, Python, Cribl, Apache NiFi, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, Splunk, and custom GOTS application(s).
• Experience with complex data parsing and streamlined ingestion, provenance and end-to-end data lineage tracking, and schema-aligned ingestion and normalization of diverse structured and unstructured data.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience supporting federal, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, containerization, and microservices platforms.
• Experience addressing cross-domain or cross-enclave interoperability challenges.
• Expertise in zero-trust architectures and secure enterprise application development.
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, software architecture, cybersecurity, or Agile development.
