About the position
Affinidi is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Full Stack Engineer Lead to join their Affinidi Elements team. In this role, the candidate will collaborate with global peers on various aspects of the product portfolio, including design, infrastructure, and back/front-end engineering. They will be responsible for enhancing and developing a multi-component platform, utilizing their expertise in designing, architecting, and building quality systems. The position reports to the Director of Engineering and offers the opportunity to work in a customer-focused, collaborative, and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop features and improvements to the Affinidi Elements product using Typescript & React
- Analyze and interpret complex data to provide actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to maintain high quality in a fast-paced environment
- Advocate for improvements in product quality, security, and performance
- Solve technical problems with large scope and complexity
- Craft code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices
- Own moderate to complex features and improvements with minimal guidance
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to team and organizational improvements
- Have experience with performance and optimization problems
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Have strong technical documentation skills
- Be a passionate developer
Requirements
- Experience with Typescript & React

Benefits
- BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- 3-4 years of commercial experience in Web/Mobile development
- 3+ years of experience developing mobile products
- Expertise in one or more programming languages
- Expertise in React.js and React Native, ideally using TypeScript language extensions
- Experience with iOS and Android native development using Objective-C/Swift or Java/Kotlin and bridging it with React Native
- Experience in automated e2e testing of mobile applications
- Experience with automated delivery of mobile application software via CI/CD
- Experience with dynamic theming and configuration to enable white-labelling applications for multiple customers
- Solid understanding of back-end engineering concepts and API design
- Proven work experience as a Mobile developer
- Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store or the Android market
- In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift and Java
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with OOP design principles
- Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
- Ability to perform in a team environment

- Experience in AWS Cloud infrastructure
