About the position
Affinidi is seeking a Director of Finance to join their fast-growing tech company in Singapore. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Ops, the Director of Finance will be responsible for developing and executing the financial strategy, managing all accounting and finance functions, and providing guidance on financial operations for multiple countries. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with the board of Directors and Executive Leadership team, and negotiate contracts with external stakeholders. The Director of Finance will also play a key role in optimizing business efficiency, maintaining reporting systems, and providing insight and recommendations for the company's short-term and long-term plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the financial strategy, align it with the overall business objectives
- Take charge of all accounting and finance functions, including planning, budgeting, procurement, investments, and audit
- Engage and interact with the board of Directors, CEO, and Executive Leadership team
- Manage the budget process and provide timely reports on performance against budget
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial guidance, conducting information analysis, and offering recommendations
- Continually automate, streamline, and improve current operational and accounting processes ensuring business efficiency
- Serve as key member of the executive leadership team, providing insight and recommendations for both short-term and long-term plans of the company across four countries: Singapore, Germany, India, and Ukraine
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to negotiate contracts, financial terms, and pricing agreements, while assessing and managing financial implications to optimize value and minimize risks
- Prepare management and group management reports
- Develop, maintain, and optimize the existing reporting system
- Enhance corporate financial policies and procedures
- Lead and manage a team of finance professionals
- Oversee all financial aspects and accounts processes
- Provide guidance and ensure company's financial operations for multiple countries
