Full Stack Developer
About The Position
Transform technology into opportunity as a Full Stack Engineer at GDIT. Shape what’s next for mission-critical government projects while shaping what’s next for your engineering career. The work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of mission critical customer. You will play a crucial role in the development of a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished intelligence products. Efforts will include creating enhancements for the tool based on high-priority mission needs, as well as maintenance/sustainment of the existing code base.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- 8+ years of related experience
- TS/SCI W/ Poly security clearance
- US citizenship required
- Java 8+
- C/C++
- Scripting (python, bash, php)
- Apache Tomcat
- Elasticsearch
- Oracle
- Spring Boot
- RESTful web services
- Solr
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment

- Basic sysadmin skills (managing cron jobs, selinux, etc.)
- Agency reporting and dissemination tools

Responsibilities
- Creating enhancements for the tool based on high-priority mission needs
- Maintenance/sustainment of the existing code base
- Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
- Work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 4-6 weeks)
