About The Position

CoinRoutes Inc. provides algorithmic trading tools for buying and selling crypto-assets. Its clients and investors include large crypto funds and trading firms. This is an in-office role in Miami, Florida, not a remote position. The developer will help lead team efforts on the CoinRoutes platform web application. The application stack includes ReactJS applications and backend services written in Rust, Django, and C++, running on AWS. The role is frontend-leaning: primarily owning React-based client applications while also building and extending the APIs and services behind them. The position focuses on fast, polished interfaces for sophisticated trading workflows, real-time data, thoughtful user experience, and responsible use of AI tools and agents to accelerate delivery without compromising quality. CoinRoutes values engineers who ship, take ownership, collaborate closely, and use emerging tools thoughtfully. AI-enabled productivity is encouraged, while secure engineering, reproducible tests, sound design, and human accountability remain essential. Candidates may have experience with different tools or stacks and should be able to learn quickly. Requirements

At least 4 years of experience.
Basic knowledge of trading or accounting systems.
Knowledge of modern JavaScript and CSS.
Knowledge of Python and/or Rust.
Experience with React and Redux, including understanding algorithmic complexity and the React-Redux lifecycle.
Experience with UX and design.
Experience with performance-intensive applications with frequent updates.
Mastery of responsive design techniques.
Working knowledge of Git and GitHub.
Understanding of Webpack and Babel.
Proficiency using developer tools to debug and troubleshoot performance issues.
Ability to drive consistency and usability within the web UI.
Ability to thrive on cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated competency in creating interactive web experiences.
Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical people.
Collaborative approach to problem solving.
Self-starter with a thirst for knowledge and experimentation.

Responsibilities

Own interactive trading features end to end, from product discussions and frontend architecture through API integration, testing, rollout, and iteration.
Build responsive, accessible React and TypeScript interfaces for order entry, portfolio and risk views, market data, analytics, and reporting.
Handle high-frequency streaming updates over WebSockets, focusing on rendering performance, data correctness, and user experience.
Design reusable components, maintainable state-management patterns, and clear visual conventions across applications.
Implement or extend Python- and Rust-based backend APIs, authentication, business logic, and integrations as needed to deliver features.
Partner with product, design, trading, and backend teams; communicate tradeoffs, estimate work, and take accountability for delivery.
Write automated tests, investigate production issues, instrument applications, and improve reliability and performance.
Use modern AI development tools responsibly to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and code review.
Design and implement AI-powered product features, agents, and workflow automations using LLM APIs, tool or function calling, structured outputs, retrieval, and integrations with internal services.
Build reliable agent workflows with evaluation, observability, access controls, human approvals where appropriate, and safeguards for sensitive client and trading data.
Perform other duties as assigned.
