About The Position

The Full Stack Developer will build and enhance web and mobile applications across a range of projects. You will develop user-facing features, backend services, and integrations using Flutter, Dart, and appropriate web and backend technologies. You will also help implement AI-powered features using existing models and services. You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver reliable, user-friendly applications. This role focuses on implementing defined features within an established architecture, with guidance from a technical lead on complex design decisions and AI implementation.

Requirements

3+ years of professional software development experience, including user-facing applications and backend services.
At least 1 year of hands-on Flutter development experience, with practical proficiency in Dart, state management, asynchronous programming, and API integration.
Experience building a substantial Flutter application; ability to explain implementation decisions, troubleshoot issues, and incorporate code-review feedback.
Proficiency in a backend language such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js, plus experience developing REST APIs and working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and a modern web framework relevant to the project stack.
Basic hands-on experience integrating an AI model through an API, including handling responses and errors; prototype or project experience is acceptable.
Experience with a cloud or managed backend platform such as Firebase, AWS Amplify, Azure, or a comparable service.
Understanding of object-oriented programming, reusable components, secure coding, and application performance fundamentals.
Experience with Git-based version control, debugging, automated testing, and collaborative code reviews.
Ability to work effectively with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and remote development partners.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.
Familiarity with agile delivery and tools such as Asana or Jira; ability to estimate work and communicate blockers promptly.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter and Dart, and contribute to web applications using the project’s established technologies.
Build and maintain backend services, databases, and REST APIs that support application workflows, user accounts, content, and integrations with business systems.
Implement assigned features within an established architecture and recommend practical improvements to usability, maintainability, and performance.
Integrate third-party APIs and SDKs, including AI services for defined use cases such as summarization, conversational interfaces, or image analysis.
Implement provided prompts, output validation, error handling, and fallback behavior for AI features, with technical guidance where needed.
Run established AI evaluation tests, document unexpected outputs, and help resolve issues using approved criteria and safeguards.
Follow secure coding practices and organizational requirements for authentication, access controls, sensitive data, and approved AI services.
Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers to clarify requirements, review acceptance criteria, and deliver responsive, accessible experiences.
Participate in code reviews, incorporate feedback, document code and integrations, and share knowledge with teammates.
Collaborate with internal and external developers on assigned features and integrations.
Write and maintain automated tests, support existing CI/CD pipelines, and participate in release testing and bug fixes.
Troubleshoot production issues and performance bottlenecks; use application analytics and user feedback to improve reliability and usability.
Participate in Scrum or Kanban planning, estimate assigned work, and communicate progress, risks, and blockers to the project manager or technical lead.
