About The Position

M9 Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a hybrid role supporting a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active TS/SCI clearance is required. The role develops and deploys software solutions for national-security analytical challenges in a hybrid Agile and DevOps environment. Work spans front-end interfaces, back-end services, cloud architectures, databases, and application support.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
At least 4 years of relevant experience.
Apache NiFi experience.
AWS Cloud experience.
Docker and containerization experience.
Experience with Agile development methodology.
Experience with REST API frameworks such as FastAPI.
Familiarity with major frontend frameworks such as React.
Familiarity with Git and GitHub/GitLab, and knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
MongoDB familiarity.
PostgreSQL experience.
Python experience.
Working knowledge of collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Experience with cloud message APIs and use of push notifications.
Keen interest in learning and using current software tools, methods, and technologies to solve real-world problem sets vital to national security.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Amazon RDS.
Experience with architecture design patterns.
Experience with Kubernetes, specifically Amazon EKS.
Experience with OpenAI API-compatible API design.
Keycloak experience.
LLM-assisted development experience.
Working knowledge of software platforms and services such as Docker.

Responsibilities

Apply software development techniques and methodologies to analytical challenges in support of national security.
Automate manual analytical processes using software development skills.
Work across front-end user interfaces, back-end microservices and web services, cloud architectures, databases, and other persistent data stores.
Deploy IT solutions, user applications, databases, and other IT capabilities.
Design and develop specialized user solutions, applications, and databases using a hybrid Agile approach within a DevOps environment.
Provide Tier 3 technical support for deployed applications and databases.
Maintain code integrity and organization.
Collaborate with the engineering team to design and launch features, and coordinate and document deployment procedures and release plans.
Support off-hours deployments, including evenings or weekends.
