About The Position

WARE is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to build and maintain the front- and back-end experiences of its website properties. The developer will design user interfaces, write APIs, manage databases, and ensure software performance, scalability, and security from conception through deployment. This role is a key technical contributor in shaping the architecture, performance, and future direction of WARE’s digital platforms. It includes leading development and deployment of applications, features, and platform improvements; updating wareinc.com and boilerwarehouse.com; and translating internal stakeholders’ business needs into technical solutions. The developer will create development timelines, oversee automated testing, monitor application performance and uptime, maintain code quality, debug issues, support software after deployment, and prepare technical documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, an equivalent level of experience, or a related degree.
At least 8 years of professional experience writing production code in PHP and Laravel.
Expertise in SQL management, API integration, and ERP systems.
Experience implementing AI-powered features, APIs, or workflows in production web applications.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Experience with e-commerce platforms, product catalogs, pricing systems, or transactional web applications.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key technical contributor in shaping the architecture, performance, and future direction of WARE’s digital platforms.
Lead the design, development, and deployment of new applications, features, and platform improvements.
Implement functionality, design, and user-experience updates to wareinc.com and boilerwarehouse.com.
Work with internal stakeholders to identify new design and functionality features for both websites.
Gather and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Develop realistic timelines for each phase of development.
Create servers and databases for functionality.
Oversee automated testing and provide feedback to management during development.
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design.
Debug and fix software errors in a timely manner.
Maintain and upgrade software following deployment.
Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects.
