About The Position

The Full Stack Developer role is based in Westlake, Texas, with remote work every other week. This is a 12-month position supporting Fidelity Investments. The work is approximately 60–70% front-end development, with the remainder focused on back-end development, and includes greater collaboration with the operations team. Candidates must be local and complete a CodeByte test within 24 hours; candidates are sent to the client based on the test result.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of full-stack development experience, or a master's degree in computer science or a related major and at least 4 years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience and expertise in at least one modern UI framework, such as Angular.
• Proficiency with Angular 18+, TypeScript, core JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience consuming and designing RESTful APIs, with good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design.
• Experience using Node.js and a good understanding of npm packages.
• Experience building, deploying, and running applications in the cloud.
• Good understanding of automation, including testing and continuous integration/deployment.
• Dedication to high-quality work while maintaining a rapid delivery pace.
• Local candidates only; must complete the CodeByte test within 24 hours.

Nice To Haves

• Investment or financial services experience.
• Exposure to multiple frameworks.
• AWS or Azure certifications.
• Experience with GraphQL and NestJS.
• Experience with monorepos or micro-frontends using NX.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and run applications in the cloud.
• Deliver technology changes to end users on a two-week cadence and as frequently as daily.
• Develop and deliver user interfaces to production.
• Consume and design RESTful APIs.
• Work with the operations team, with a greater emphasis on that collaboration in the back-end portion of the role.
