About The Position

Technica Corporation is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to drive rapid development in an AI-assisted environment. The role involves using AI coding assistants, such as Claude and Amazon Q Developer, to accelerate delivery while applying human oversight to validate, secure, and maintain enterprise code. The candidate should have experience designing and writing AI models.

The position develops and maintains Java (Spring Boot) back-end and Angular front-end code, uses AI tools for code generation, testing, and modernization, and ensures outputs comply with security, AWS cloud architecture, and PostgreSQL standards. The developer manually reviews, debugs, and optimizes code to prevent integration issues and low-quality abstractions.

The job is located onsite at a government facility in Chantilly, Virginia. Hybrid work requires customer approval, and any permitted remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government point of contact without interrupting service delivery. The stated annual base salary range is $110,000–$142,000.

Requirements

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI and CI Poly eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot, Angular version 17 or higher, PostgreSQL, and AWS environments.
• At least 5 years of Java/Spring Boot experience.
• At least 5 years of Angular experience.
• At least 5 years of PostgreSQL experience.
• At least 2 years of demonstrated experience working in AI-assisted development workflows.
• Experience designing and writing AI models.
• Excellent debugging and architectural design skills to steer AI agents effectively.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and refactor Java (Spring Boot) back-end and Angular front-end code.

• Manually review, debug, and optimize code to prevent integration issues and low-quality abstractions.
• Apply human oversight to validate, secure, and maintain complex enterprise code.
