About The Position

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies. Work collaboratively within a team. The position requires U.S. citizenship and a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level. Travel is not required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer and knowledge of a combination of relevant technologies: front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js; back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express, Python, or Ruby on Rails; and databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• U.S. citizenship and a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level are required.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and continuous integration practices.
• Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Java, C#, PHP, or Python.
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with real-time communication technologies such as Channels, Socket.io, or Pusher.
• Familiarity with mapping libraries such as ArcGIS, Leaflet.js, or Mapbox GL JS.
• Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of email integration and handling within web applications.
• Experience with version control using Git.
• Familiarity with containerization and deployment using Docker.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of web security best practices.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Self-motivation and eagerness to learn about new technologies and tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration tools.
• Familiarity with data synchronization concepts.
