Full Stack Developer
About The Position
TEKsystems is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a contract role based in Newport Beach, California. The developer will build modern, customer-facing web applications and own features end-to-end, from initial design through development and production. The work spans React and TypeScript, Java and/or Node.js, APIs, AWS and serverless technologies, and microservices and distributed architectures. The role also involves maintaining CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting performance, security, and application stability, and collaborating with engineering and business teams to deliver customer-facing solutions. The position is hybrid. The pay range is $60.00–$80.00 per hour. Individual compensation depends on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience.
- At least 2 years of full-stack development experience.
- Strong React and TypeScript skills.
- Backend development experience with Java and/or Node.js.
- Experience building external, customer-facing websites, not just internal enterprise applications.
- Strong AWS experience.
- Experience building APIs and working within microservices architectures.
Nice To Haves
- SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB experience.
- Azure DevOps experience.
- Python experience.
- MuleSoft experience.
- Docker and containerization experience.
- DevSecOps or cybersecurity experience.
- AWS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Build modern applications using React and TypeScript.

- Own features from initial design through development and production.
