About The Position

We are seeking a Full-Cycle Accountant to manage our accounting process from transaction entry to financial reporting. This role will report to the Director of Finance and is responsible for all aspects of accounting including invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and experience handling the full accounting cycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting or similar accounting roles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel (e.g. filtering, pivot tables)
• Experienced in navigating Accounting and HRIS software

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Experience with Paylocity HRIS software

Responsibilities

• Perform journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Manage time and attendance and process weekly payroll
• Develop and maintain actionable reporting
• Review and finalize customer invoices and credit memos
• Process vendor invoices and authorize checks and wire transfers
• Manage accounts receivable and cash receipts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations
• Review, improve, and document accounting procedures
• Adhere to and monitor compliance with internal controls
• Scan and archive accounting records
