About The Position

HALO is hiring for an on-site Fulfillment position at its fulfillment center in Sterling, Illinois, focused on receiving and inventory management of HALO products. The role works on the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The team prepares customer orders for shipment to clients worldwide. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to read and speak English for safety purposes.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Motivated by a deadline-oriented work environment.
• Able to work overtime when required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to push and pull up to 200 pounds with assistance of rolling carts.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of receiving experience.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Forklift license.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare packages and process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and a third-party shipping system.
• Compare packing lists with company purchase orders and verify that delivered products match the packing lists.
• Count inventory, track packages, post freight to purchase orders, and process returns.
• Load and unload trucks and put away stock.
• Answer questions about inventory, shipping, freight, and supplies.
• Check and respond to company emails.
• Work on fulfillment and kitting projects.
• Make bins and labels for new program merchandise.
• Maintain a neat and orderly warehouse.
• Operate forklifts, stand-up electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks.
