Online Fulfillment Warehouse Worker I
About The Position
VP Racing is seeking an Online Fulfillment Warehouse Worker to fill customer and vendor orders and assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate has some shipping and receiving experience, including picking and packing orders, familiarity with digital inventory systems, and basic computer skills. The role requires flexibility, multitasking, and communicating with customers and colleagues by phone, email, and in person. This is a non-exempt position in the Fulfillment department that reports to the Manager. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work is performed in an outside warehouse, with exposure to noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils, and weather conditions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 AM, as stated in the posting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, three months or more of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Some shipping and receiving experience, including picking and packing orders for shipment.
- Familiarity with digital inventory systems and basic computer knowledge, such as Outlook or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and communicate with customers and colleagues by phone, email, and in person.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and other physical duties described in the posting.
- Ability to use a pallet jack to move palletized containers.

Responsibilities
- Fill orders to meet vendor and customer requirements.
- Assist with shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or material requests and distribute them to shipping or the designated route-driver storage area.
- Assist with counting physical inventory.
- Wear proper safety equipment and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform facilities maintenance duties as assigned.
- Keep warehouse and work areas orderly; sweep, dust, and mop as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
