About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Warehouse Associate I receives, unpacks, checks, and stows warehouse materials. The role picks, packs, crates, and ships products to fill orders, conducts light assembly work, operates power equipment, and performs a variety of other tasks. The employee performs quality checks as needed, records results when necessary, and alerts the Leadsperson to quality problems, part shortages, machine breakdowns, or other issues.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to utilize various forklifts and machinery equipment.
• Familiarity with both LTL and UPS shipping.
• Good communication, data entry, basic math, and organization skills.
• Experience working with standard hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Ability to stand continuously, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Off-load trucks using a forklift and pallet jack.
• Verify the quality, type, and quantity of received materials.
• Break down freight by hand off-loading products to a consolidated put-away location.
• Pick product orders and hand-load products onto pallets.
• Package outbound shipments by wrapping, strapping, or boxing products.
• Manifest UPS shipments.
• Create bills of lading for truck carriers.
• Produce and attach identifying tags to products or shipments.
• Fulfill all safety responsibilities.
• Perform quality checks and record results as needed; alert the Leadsperson to quality problems, shortages, breakdowns, or other situations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Lead.
