About The Position

The Fulfillment Specialist performs tasks involved in processing and shipping orders to customers for a Centralized Services Pharmacy Fulfillment Center. Walgreens’ pharmacy micro-fulfillment centers use robotic technology in a central pharmacy environment to dispense and ship prescriptions to retail stores, supporting delivery of medications to patients.

Requirements

• Be willing to obtain and maintain registration in good standing with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy, if required by state law.
• Be fluent in reading and speaking English.
• Be willing to work a flexible shift.
• Be willing and able to stand for at least 8 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be willing and able to perform tasks involving pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be willing and able to carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience in a retail, centralized services, or fulfillment center environment.
• At least 6 months of experience operating motorized material handling equipment.
• At least 6 months of experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning.
• At least 6 months of experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory management system.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, pick, pack, audit, and ship prescriptions to customers.
• Track inbound and outbound items using radio frequency (RF) scanning to maintain inventory accountability.
• Verify orders and ensure they are entered into the inventory management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, orderly, and debris-free work environment throughout the Fulfillment Center.
• Maintain quality standards established by management.
