About The Position

The Part-time Fulfillment Specialist delivers inventory solutions and manages Fastenal’s vending program on a local customer route. The role is based at the Peoria, Illinois branch and involves making deliveries, replenishing managed inventory programs, interacting with customers, and maintaining vending equipment. Fastenal provides on-the-job, online, instructor-led classroom, and virtual training to help employees develop the knowledge and skills needed for the role and to grow within the company.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Hold a current, valid driver’s license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle as needed.
Have proficient written and oral communication skills.
Have proficient computer skills.
Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented.
Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Demonstrate the company’s core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 75 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen, where applicable in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
