About The Position

The Part-time Fulfillment Specialist delivers inventory solutions and manages Fastenal’s vending program on a local customer route. The role includes making deliveries, replenishing managed inventory programs, maintaining equipment, and providing service to customers. The position is based at the branch located at 1833 S Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka, FL 32703. Training includes on-the-job, online, instructor-led classroom, and virtual learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a current, full, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated licensing program, and meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle as needed.
• Have proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Have proficient computer skills.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
• Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
• Work independently and in a team environment.

• Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and possibly up to 75 pounds.
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries in a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites.
• Replenish and perform general maintenance on vending equipment.
• Interact with customers while making deliveries.
• Place and fulfill orders at customer sites.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
