About The Position

The Part-time Fulfillment Specialist works a local route from Fastenal’s branch at 3943 E Main St, Russellville, AR 72802. The role delivers inventory solutions to customer sites, replenishes managed inventory programs, and maintains vending equipment. It involves regular customer interaction and working independently as well as with a team. Training is provided through on-the-job, online, instructor-led classroom, and virtual learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a current, valid driver’s license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet driving-record requirements for using a company vehicle as needed.
• Have proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Have proficient computer skills.
• Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
• Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
• Be able to work independently and in a team environment.

• Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 75 pounds.
• Pass the required drug screen, where applicable in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries using a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites.
• Replenish and perform general maintenance on vending equipment.
• Interact with customers while making deliveries.
• Place and fulfill orders at customer sites.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
