About The Position

Fulfillment Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for handling all aspects of customer service within a 3rd Party warehouse and fulfillment environment. Fulfillment Customer Service Coordinator responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: Effectively present information and solutions to customers, prospective clients and other employees of the organization Manage customer accounts and act as point of contact for customer service related needs Be an active participant in the process of obtaining new revenue generating opportunities Responsible for the training and onboarding of new customers to the DC order system Utilize a WMS system to verify rates are accurate and audit daily Warehouse transactions for accurate billing to our customers Answer phone calls / emails from potential new customers and the sales team, actively seeking new leads and business, building and managing partner relationships Work with the pricing team to get new customer quotes, present quotes, participate / lead conference calls, on-board new customers Work with the WMS Support team to get new items setup, coordinate system training with new customers when needed Utilize a CRM to log, update, and monitor all new leads Assist with the coordination of short-term projects in the region (Transloads, Crossdocks, Re-works), collecting payment when needed Assist with customer monthly invoice preparation, posting invoices, ensuring accuracy and meeting all timelines, assist customers with any questions or issues on the invoices Analyze problems or issues to determine root cause Ensure warehouse security, cleanliness and safety standards are adhered to

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years’ experience working in a 3rd Party Warehouse/Fulfillment environment
  • Previous experience with radio frequency picking systems (RF), bar code systems and electronic data interchange (EDI) preferred
  • Previous experience with a CRM, Pipedrive preferred
  • Previous experience with Truckload brokerage or Freight Forwarding preferred
  • Fork Lift Certification and/or ability to obtain certification
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements and other warehouse safety principles and government regulations
  • Knowledge of hazardous material loading requirements and restrictions
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with both internal and external business partners
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities, meet deadlines, work well under pressure, and maintain discretion on confidential matters while maintaining a positive attitude and providing unmatched customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to formulate official company reports and correspondence
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse management systems (WMS, cloud based), Deposco and Cargowise preferred
  • Leaderships skills with the ability to implement and manage change and continuous process improvement
