About The Position

The Fulfillment Center Specialist works in a fast-paced distribution environment at Parts Town’s 538,450-square-foot fulfillment center. The role supports warehouse operations by picking, packing, shipping, receiving, putting away, and loading parts. Team members may begin in one area and move to other tasks as operational needs change. The position is part of the launch and growth of a new facility in Pendergrass, Georgia, with opportunities to learn from established teams across the distribution network.

The workplace is described as safe, friendly, casual, and team-oriented. The role requires active work rather than sitting at a desk, and offers opportunities for advancement within the warehouse or other departments. The listed shift is 10:00 AM–7:00 PM EST; the posting also says employees must be able to work an eight-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience is required.
• Ability to consistently lift and carry up to 40 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to walk several miles per day, bend down, reach overhead, and remain mobile for extended periods.
• Comfort using a smartphone or handheld scanner.
• Reliable, enthusiastic team player willing to help when needed.
• Strong accuracy and speed in completing work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work an eight-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM EST.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday and occasional weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a safety-first environment.
• Operate an order picker to pick, pack, put away, receive, and load parts.
• Use an RF scanner to pick parts and put them away in the correct warehouse locations.
• Work with the warehouse team to complete daily orders.
• Process parts with accuracy and speed; performance is measured by daily quantity and accuracy.
