About The Position

Mom’s Meals, a national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals for the healthcare market, is hiring a Fulfillment Associate. The associate picks, scans, and packs part of each customer’s order as it moves through the fulfillment process, working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced refrigerated environment throughout the shift. The work takes place in a large warehouse maintained at 34–40 degrees Fahrenheit; gloves are provided. The 2nd shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., at $17.50 per hour, including the shift differential. Shifts may also include weekends, holidays, and/or overtime. Employment is contingent on successfully passing a post-offer drug screen and background check, where permitted by law.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Able to stand and walk for up to 8–10 hours.
Able to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Strong service orientation and ability to work as part of a team and communicate well with others.
Able to work independently with little supervision.
Basic reading skills.
Must pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.
Able to perform repetitive movements and work in variable temperatures, including cold conditions.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience in warehouse distribution or a similar environment.

Responsibilities

Pick the correct items for cooler boxes, scan them appropriately, and pack items to complete a portion of each customer’s order.
Follow strict safety, quality, and production standards.
Pay close attention to labels, product selection, and other details while performing job duties.
Meet productivity and accuracy standards and produce consistent, quality work.
Move product between locations while following food sanitation and safety guidelines.
Assist with general housekeeping.
