About The Position

Store Team Members build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, maximizing product inventory, and supporting online business operations to create a positive shopping experience. Although merchandising is the general focus, team members may also be assigned sales, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. The role is internally referred to as Merchandiser and reports to the store management team. This is a seasonal, short-term position lasting no longer than six months. Seasonal team members may apply for a non-seasonal role. The position requires daytime availability and a flexible schedule as business needs require, including evenings and weekends. Delivery may be assigned as an essential job function. The role may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of experience; 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Maximize product inventory by processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, and placing signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is added as an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally, following company policies and procedures and all traffic and safety laws.
