About The Position

The FUGE Camps Support Specialist performs integral functions that support summer camp experiences for thousands of students. The role communicates with camp staff around the nation and helps ensure successful camp operations. It is a seasonal Summer 2027 remote position, beginning in mid-April and continuing through early August 2027, with an option to extend as needed. Training is scheduled for Thursday, April 15, 2027, and Friday, April 16, 2027. The position pays $15.00 or more per hour, depending on relevant experience.

Requirements

• Participate in the entirety of the 2027 camp season.
• Be actively involved in an evangelical Christian church.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Have excellent organizational skills, follow-through, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Have basic knowledge of Google applications and Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of administrative assistance and/or project coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Model the vision statement and excellence in customer service.
• Reconcile church participant lists with individual release forms.
• Maintain the confidentiality of customers’ protected personal information.
• Manage the forms database.
• Contact customers about missing release forms or information.
• Answer questions about forms from customers, FUGE Camps office staff, and summer staffers, primarily assistant directors.
• Respond to phone calls and email with a strong focus on customer service.
• Ask for management assistance when needed.
• Travel to trainings and events as needed.
