About The Position

Lifeway Camps is hiring seasonal summer 2027 financial accounting support for its Accounting & Financial Support team. In this remote role, you will perform accounting functions that support summer camp experiences for thousands of students and contribute to the financial stewardship of camp. The position involves communicating with camp staff around the nation and with team members and customers by phone and email. The role requires participation throughout the 2027 camp season, from beginning or mid-May through early August, with an option to extend as needed. Program training is scheduled for May 14–20, 2027, and travel to training and other events may be needed. Compensation is $15.00 or more per hour, depending on relevant experience.

Requirements

Participate in the entirety of the 2027 camp season, from beginning or mid-May to early August 2027; an extension may be possible.

Nice To Haves

Enrollment in or completion of an Accounting, Finance, or related program of study.
Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university.
Completion of at least two years of undergraduate study, or graduation with a degree in Business, Finance, or another applicable program.

Responsibilities

Reconcile monthly credit card statements.
Set up supplier requests.
Submit journal entries to ensure the proper balancing and allocation of financial records.
Process check requests for invoice payments and staff reimbursements.
Communicate with camp staff, team members, and customers via phone and email.
Travel to training and other events, as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
