About The Position

Lifeway Camps is hiring seasonal summer support for its Accounting & Financial Support team. The role performs accounting functions that support summer camp experiences for thousands of students and contributes to the financial stewardship of camp. The position is remote and involves communicating with camp staff around the nation, as well as team members and customers.

The role is for the 2027 camp season, from beginning/mid-May through early August, with the option to extend as needed. Program training is scheduled for Friday, May 14 through Thursday, May 20, 2027. Travel to training and other events may be required as needed. Compensation is $15.00 or more per hour, depending on relevant experience.

Requirements

• Participate in the entirety of the 2027 camp season.

Nice To Haves

• Be enrolled in or have completed a program of study in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university.
• Have fully completed at least two years of undergraduate study, or be a graduate with a degree in Business, Finance, or another applicable program.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile monthly credit card statements.
• Set up supplier requests.
• Submit journal entries to ensure proper balancing and allocation of financial records.
• Process check requests for invoice payments and staff reimbursements.
• Communicate with camp staff, team members, and customers by phone and email.
• Travel to training and other events as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
