About The Position

United Uptime Services is seeking a Fuel Service Technician to support petroleum fueling equipment in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and surrounding areas. The company provides installation, maintenance, and service for petroleum fueling and EV charging systems and is an authorized distributor and service provider for Gilbarco Veeder-Root and other major equipment brands.

The technician performs scheduled and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on underground and aboveground storage tank systems and related components at retail and commercial fueling centers. The work includes responding to after-hours priority calls on an on-call rotation, completing manufacturer-required work for certifications, and following customer safety and housekeeping protocols. Daily direction comes from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Gilbarco certification is required.
• Must be available for on-call work.
• Must pass a drug test, background check, and DMVR check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with petroleum equipment service and maintenance.
• Certifications or experience with Verifone, Passport, and Ruby point-of-sale systems.
• Certifications or experience with Veeder Root and Franklin Evos tank monitoring systems.
• Certifications or experience with Red Jacket, Franklin motors, and controllers.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on UST/AST systems and components at retail and commercial fueling centers.
• Service equipment including dispensers, pumps, controllers, POS consoles, printers, fuel management systems, leak detection equipment, lighting and electrical systems, valves, and piping.
• Take daily directions from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher.
• Respond to after-hours emergency service requests for site-down or other priority situations as part of an on-call rotation.
• Perform prerequisite work required to obtain and maintain original equipment manufacturer certifications.
• Follow customer protocols and procedures, including safety and housekeeping guidelines.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships.
