About The Position

United Uptime Services is hiring a Fuel Service Technician to support petroleum fueling and EV charging equipment across Phoenix, Arizona, and surrounding areas. The role performs scheduled and emergency service at retail and commercial fueling centers, maintaining and repairing underground and aboveground storage tank systems and related equipment. The technician takes daily direction from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher, participates in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies, completes manufacturer-required work to obtain and maintain certifications, and follows customer safety and housekeeping protocols. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Gilbarco certification required.
• Must be available for on-call work.
• Must pass a drug test, background check, and DMVR check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with petroleum equipment service and maintenance.
• Certifications or experience with Verifone, Passport, or Ruby point-of-sale systems; Veeder Root or Franklin EVO tank monitoring systems; and Red Jacket, Franklin motors, or controllers.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on UST/AST systems and components at retail and commercial fueling centers.
• Service equipment including dispensers, pumps, controllers, POS consoles, printers, fuel management systems, leak detection equipment, lighting and electrical systems, valves, and piping.
• Take daily directions from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher.
• Respond to after-hours emergency service requests for site-down or other priority situations as part of an on-call rotation.
• Perform prerequisite work necessary to obtain and maintain original equipment manufacturer certifications.
• Follow customer protocols and procedures, including safety and housekeeping guidelines.
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships.
