About The Position

Welcome to Love's! Our Facilities Maintenance team is seeking an entry-level Fuel Maintenance Manager focused on developing foundational knowledge of fuel systems, safety standards, and service processes. This position supports fuel maintenance operations through troubleshooting assistance, documentation, and coordination under the guidance of experienced team members.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • 0-1 years of related experience and/or training in petroleum service repair, installation and support preferred
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Able to multi-task
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Possess strong oral and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent management skills
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual physical labor, lifting and moving materials, furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
  • Possess a valid US driver’s license.
  • Availability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Ability to travel up to 2 weeks per month.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Gilbarco preferred, but other lines that will be supported are Wayne, Veeder Root, FE Petro and Red Jacket.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an office environment to assist with diagnosing tank monitor alarms and basic dispenser error codes
  • Provide phone and email support to store teams, field technicians, and vendors
  • Evaluate dispenser error codes.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting and escalating service repair calls
  • Conduct site inspections.
  • Support training activities and follow established SOPs
  • Aware of and operates within OSH Act (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
  • Available to work on an on-call basis.
  • Work cooperatively with colleagues, supervisors, and administrators.
  • Carry out assignments and instructions from supervisor(s) in a competent and efficient manner.
  • Work in a safe manner with personal safety and the safety of others as the number one priority.
  • Manual physical labor, lifting and moving materials, furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Account for supplies, materials, and equipment as required.
  • Complete records and reports as required in a timely manner.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
  • Handle other duties as assigned.
