About The Position

LV Petroleum is seeking a Fuel Maintenance Technician to join its maintenance team. The role is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on fuel systems and related equipment across the company’s locations. The technician maintains fuel pumps, dispensers, tanks, and diesel dispensing equipment, troubleshoots system issues, and helps ensure safe, reliable operation and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The position also involves maintaining accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts inventory and following protocols for handling fuel systems and hazardous materials.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in fuel system maintenance or a related field.
Familiarity with fuel pumps, dispensers, tanks, and related equipment.
Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for handling fuel systems.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work outdoors, and perform tasks requiring physical stamina.

Relevant certifications in fuel maintenance or hazardous materials handling.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on fuel pumps, dispensers, tanks, and related equipment.
Perform diesel dispensing maintenance.
Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Diagnose and resolve issues with fuel dispensing systems and related components to minimize downtime and support safety.
Implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life and prevent malfunctions.
