Fuel Center Maintenance
About The Position
The Fuel Center Maintenance employee supports the Iowa 80 Fuel Center by performing preventative maintenance and helping keep the facility clean, presentable, safe, and in good repair. This is a full-time, on-site position at the Iowa Truckstop Fuel Center Building. The listed schedule is two days from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and three days from 4:00 p.m. to midnight. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with a $2.00 shift differential beginning at 4:00 p.m. The role is suited to someone comfortable working with their hands and basic tools who is interested in developing maintenance and customer-service skills. Iowa 80 requires a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check, as well as random drug testing for employees. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on operating equipment, machinery, and buildings.
- Keep the operation clean, safe, and in good repair, including power washing and other cleaning tasks.
- Perform housekeeping as needed.
- Complete light painting jobs.
- Clean outdoor diesel pumps.
- Remove trash.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
