About The Position

The Fuel Center Maintenance employee helps maintain the Iowa 80 Fuel Center by performing preventative and predictive maintenance on operating equipment, machinery, and buildings. The role focuses on keeping the facility clean, safe, presentable, and in good repair for guests. This is a full-time, on-site position at the Iowa Truckstop Fuel Center Building. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with a $2.00 shift differential for hours worked after 4:00 p.m., for earnings of up to $17.00 per hour during those hours. The schedule includes two days from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and three days from 4:00 p.m. to midnight. Overtime is available.

The position includes power washing and other cleaning, housekeeping, light painting, cleaning outdoor diesel pumps, trash removal, and other assigned duties. Candidates should be comfortable working hands-on with staff, following instructions, adapting to changing duties, and supporting customer satisfaction. Snow removal experience is a plus. Employment is contingent on a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check; employees are also subject to random drug testing. Iowa 80 is unable to sponsor a visa.
