About The Position

As a Fuel Delivery Driver, you will work with the Dispatch team to safely deliver product to residential and commercial customers. The role provides an essential service to Irving Energy customers in a safety-focused environment. Success requires following daily routes, loading the fuel truck, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, and complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the United States. Pre-employment checks include a criminal background check, drug test, and road test.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A or Class B driver’s license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
Minimum of 2 years of commercial transportation experience.
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Basic mathematical skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong safety focus.
Must be legally entitled to work in the United States.

Experience with liquid loads.

Responsibilities

Drive a delivery truck while adhering to all DOT regulations and procedures.
Work with the Dispatch team to deliver products to residential and commercial customers.
Follow daily routes using knowledge of geography, routes, zones, and streets.
Load the truck with required product while adhering to all safety policies and procedures at the loading site or bulk plant.
Complete the daily shift report, pre- and post-trip inspections, and required paperwork.
