About The Position

As a Fuel Delivery Driver, you will work with the Dispatch team to deliver product safely to residential and commercial customers. The role provides an essential service to Irving Energy customers in a safety-focused environment. Success depends on adhering to daily routes, loading the fuel truck, and completing pre- and post-trip inspections while following Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the US. Pre-employment checks include a criminal background check, drug test, and road test.

Requirements

• Hold a valid CDL Class A or Class B Driver’s License with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of commercial transportation experience.
• Have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Demonstrate basic mathematical skills.
• Demonstrate attention to detail.
• Have strong customer service skills.
• Have a strong safety focus.
• Be legally entitled to work in the US.
• Complete pre-employment criminal background, drug, and road checks.

• Experience with liquid loads.

Responsibilities

• Drive a delivery truck while adhering to all DOT regulations and procedures.
• Work with the Dispatch Team to deliver products to residential and commercial customers.
• Follow a daily route using knowledge of geography, routes, zones, and streets.
• Load the truck with the required product while adhering to safety policies and procedures at the loading site or bulk plant.
• Complete the daily shift report, pre- and post-trip inspections, and required paperwork.
