FUEL CENTER/LEAD CLERK
About The Position
This position is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and achieving sales and profit goals for the Fuel department. The role involves monitoring quality assurance standards, directing and supervising all functions and activities within the Fuel department, and supporting its day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will embrace the Customer 1st strategy, encourage excellent customer service from associates, and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Fred Meyer, based in Portland, Oregon, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and now serves customers in over 120 stores across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. Responsibilities
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return
- Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor and control all established quality assurance standards
- Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Fuel department
- Support the day-to-day functions of the Fuel operations
- Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service
