About The Position

Assist customers and manage the cash register while maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the fuel center. The role includes pumping gas, recovering stock and displays, completing inspections and reports, and maintaining compliance documentation. The associate is expected to demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety, and to provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

Familiarity with industry or technical terms and processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and without direct supervision.
Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
Ability to act honestly and with integrity regarding customer and business information.

Responsibilities

Model Customer 1st behavior and deliver and encourage excellent customer service.
Pump gas.
Complete daily tours and inspections.
Complete incident, security, and fuel spill reports.
Clean up fuel spills.
Recover displays and maintain department cleanliness.
Perform cashier functions and answer telephones.
Comply with corporate policies, safety guidelines, and standards.
Promote and follow company initiatives.
Maintain knowledge of emergency plans, numbers, and procedures.
Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
