About The Position

Assist customers and operate the cash register while maintaining the fuel center’s cleanliness and neatness. Recover stock, complete incident and security reports, and maintain compliance documentation. Demonstrate the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. The role includes pumping gas, conducting daily tours and inspections, cleaning up fuel spills, maintaining displays, answering telephones, and following company policies, safety standards, and initiatives. Associates should provide excellent customer service, work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment, handle conflict reasonably and cooperatively, protect customer and business information, and seek assistance when needed. The position also provides direct support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults. Essential job functions must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

Model Customer 1st behavior and deliver and encourage excellent customer service.
Pump gas.
Complete daily tours and inspections.
Fill out incident and security reports.
Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Reports.
Recover displays and maintain department cleanliness.
Perform cashier functions.
Answer telephones.
Comply with corporate policies and safety guidelines and standards.
Promote and follow company initiatives.
Maintain knowledge of emergency plan numbers and procedures.
Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner.
