About The Position

Compile and analyze basic information which is to be placed in reports, summaries, presentations, charts, graphs, or tables as necessary to support the Quality Assurance department. The scope of this position is to provide support to FSQS personnel ensuring product quality and food safety program compliance by compiling data and completing appropriate reports. This includes ensuring timely and appropriate communication with management teams by maintaining and sending out reports on supplied dates, ensuring compliance to regulatory, food safety and customer expectations, and sending supplier complaints when product is outside of specification requirements. The clerk must be in their work area, ready to work at the posted start time. The role also involves maintaining records and filing, and the foreign material log, and sending out accurate daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and/or monthly reports to management, suppliers, and customers.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent Communications skills

Responsibilities

  • Immediately report any injury, damage to equipment or facilities to their Supervisor, Superintendent or Manager.
  • Work with management to immediately identify and correct all unsafe acts or unsafe working conditions.
  • Work under control and follow all established safety policies, rules, programs, and practices at all times.
