About The Position

The FSQA Technician is responsible for ensuring overall quality in an assigned area by managing regulatory, company, and customer policies and programs. The position reports directly to the QA Manager. Success in the role requires knowledge of testing procedures, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

The role is based at Landmark Snacks LLC in Beatrice, Nebraska, and is a full-time, day-shift position. The work involves testing and inspecting materials and products throughout the processing plant, including working in cold environments and production areas where noise may be loud.

Requirements

• Previous QA experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Work on a computer and use Excel and word-processing software proficiently.
• Uphold regulatory, company, and customer standards.
• Work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented, and build strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
• Have sufficient written communication and reading skills.
• Operate equipment or learn to operate it quickly.
• Manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

• Assess products for quality compliance.
• Remain in a stationary position during the shift and perform repetitive motions.
• Occasionally lift, push, pull, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds across the plant.
• Have good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company and customer quality standards are met.
• Conduct quality tests, perform inspection checks, and calibrate equipment.
• Analyze samples from all areas of the processing plant, including raw materials and finished products.
• Analyze pH, gluten, and water activity.
• Communicate food safety deficiencies to the FSQA Manager and provide feedback and recommendations.
• Ensure employees follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change with or without notice.
